Digital Basics for over 50's

When: Every Wednesday in 2018
Where: South Perth Library and Manning Library
Cost: Free, appointments essential

South Perth libraries have introduced a new lifelong learning program called 'Digital Basics for over 50's' aimed primarily at digital literacy. In the past our eResource training sessions at Manning and South Perth libraries have been focussed on the eResources that we host.

This new program is aimed at assisting people over 50 years of age in engaging with the wider online landscape with tutoring from our digital mentors. We provide one-on-one training that may be booked as 30 or 60 minute sessions. We want to make sure that you do not miss out on all of the benefits in the digital world by gaining skills and confidence to use technology and the internet.
Things like accessing government agencies, email or social networking sites will be covered.
You can always start from home, the Be Connected page is a good place to begin.

Additionally training extends into other areas such as internet safety and using online forms. You can keep coming back as much as you like, we are here for you.

We will still provide our core eResource training if you need help with downloading eBooks or watching eFilms etc.

Bring in your device and passwords or alternatively use one of the library’s computers.

Book in for an evening session at Manning from 5pm onwards or during the day at South Perth library from between 1pm to 4pm.
