Digital Storytelling Workshop
South Perth Library Function Room$25 + booking fee
Develop digital media and storytelling skills as our facilitators assist you to produce your 1-3 minute personal story as a video you can share with your friends and family.
Digital storytelling is a tool for self-empowerment and advocacy, where the participant uses their authentic voice, stories from their life together with images and music to produce a short multi-media piece.
No experience in using iPads is necessary as all the training will be provided during the workshop.
Our pre-workshop pack will help you come along fully prepared with a story and photographs to share. After finessing your story, we will show you how to record your audio track, scan your photographs and edit them together into a short video that will be viewed at the end of the workshop. Your movie will be made available to you online and on DVD.
Come along and tell your story, or buddy-up with a friend or relative and make a film on their story.
Morning and afternoon tea will be provided. Please bring your own lunch.
