We have more than 70,000 items over both locations. Our collection contains digital and traditional items including new and popular titles across an extensive range of books, music CDs, DVDs, talking books and magazines for the whole family.
A range of useful databases are available online. Find fun stuff for kids, access useful information for research and search the catalogues of other WA and Australian libraries.
Our regular events and programs are designed to educate and entertain all ages. Please see our events calendar.
As part of the state-wide public library service, we have access to over two million items, so please let us know if you can't find what you're looking for.
We are dedicated to providing our patrons with free access to ideas and information in a variety of formats; to promote lifelong learning; to nurture a love of literature and all varieties of cultural expression; and to spark the imagination and creativity of all.
View the Collection Development Policy for more information on the principles that guide the Library Service to continually improve and manage its collection.
